On January 24, Ant Group has established an internal AI innovation research and development and application department NextEvo, which is headed by Xu Peng, vice president of Ant Group. Xu Peng worked at Google for 11 years, responsible for and leading the core technology development of Google Translate, and participated in the development of algorithms for Google's display advertising system. NextEvo is Ant's internal AI elite department and undertakes all core technology research and development of Ant AI, including all research and development work of Ant Bailing large model. In 2023, the department published more than 30 papers on the top international journal of AI. NextEvo's open source intelligent large-scale distributed deep learning system DLRover, and the GPU graphics memory + transmission optimization open source project GLake make up for the domestic AI vertical field technology open source gap.
