On July 1, Tencent announced that its self-developed Xingmai high-performance computing network has been comprehensively upgraded, and the upgraded Xingmai network 2.0 is equipped with fully self-developed network equipment and AI computing power network cards, supporting more than 100,000 cards large-scale networking, and the network communication efficiency is 60% higher than the previous generation, so that the training efficiency of large models can be increased by 20%. If it used to take 100 seconds to synchronize a calculation in training, it now takes 40 seconds. A model that used to take 50 days to train only took 40 days.
