Tencent released the 2022 research and development big data report

On March 20, Tencent released the "2022 Tencent R&D Big Data Report". This report produced by the Tencent Technology Committee disclosed important data on Tencent's R&D investment, R&D efficiency, and open source collaboration in 2022. The "Report" shows that the proportion of Tencent's internal R&D personnel will reach 74% in 2022, which means that on average, three out of every four Tencent employees are engaged in R&D work. The "Report" shows that last year, Tencent added more than 7,000 R&D projects, an increase of 19.8% compared to 2021; the number of new lines of code was 2.94 billion, the number of new code libraries was 210,000, and the average daily code submission was 127,000 times .
