LG has released EXAONE 3.0, South Korea's first open source AI model

On August 12, LG AI Research announced the launch of South Korea's first open source AI model EXAONE 3.0, marking South Korea's entry into the global AI field dominated by US tech giants as well as emerging companies in China and the Middle East. EXAONE 3.0 open source model is based on the Decoder-only Transformer architecture, the number of parameters is 7.8B, the amount of training data (tokens) is 8T, is a bilingual model for English and Korean.
