Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory announced on March 20 that recently, the laboratory jointly with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the University of Tubingen, Germany, and the University of Hong Kong launched a large-scale automatic driving video generation model GenAD, which provides support for the research and application of automatic driving technology by predicting and simulating real-world scenarios. The video generation model GenAD further broadens the research path of autonomous driving technology. Combined with the previously launched end-to-end autonomous driving model UniAD and the "language + autonomous driving" full-stack data set DriveLM, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory explores autonomous driving technology from multiple technical dimensions, thereby enhancing its intelligence in multiple directions.
